One Stop Breast Clinic
Same-day consultation and diagnostic imaging — expert assessment with minimal delay.
The One Stop Clinic means that patients with a new breast symptom can be seen, examined, imaged and in most cases given a diagnosis on the same day — all under one roof. Mr Sarakbi established this service because he understands how distressing waiting is. Speed of diagnosis does not mean corners are cut; it means patients are supported from the first appointment.
Mr Will Sarakbi — Consultant Oncoplastic Breast SurgeonWhat is the One Stop Clinic?
The One Stop Clinic provides consultation and diagnostic imaging on the same day. Rather than attending multiple appointments over weeks, you can see Mr Sarakbi, have a mammogram or ultrasound, and — where appropriate — receive initial results within a single visit.
This approach is available at Shirley Oaks Hospital, Surrey. Mr Sarakbi works closely with specialist radiologists and breast care nurses at both locations to ensure fast, accurate and supportive care.
Who should attend?
The One Stop Clinic is appropriate for women who:
- Have noticed a lump or change in their breast
- Have been referred for further assessment after a routine mammogram
- Have breast pain, nipple changes or skin changes requiring assessment
- Have a family history of breast cancer and wish to discuss screening
- Have already been diagnosed and wish to discuss treatment options
What happens at the appointment?
Mr Sarakbi will take a full clinical history and perform a breast examination. Depending on your presentation, you may also undergo mammography, ultrasound imaging or a fine-needle or core biopsy during the same visit. In most cases, you will be given preliminary results and a clear plan at or shortly after the appointment.

Frequently asked questions
A One Stop Breast Clinic provides consultation and diagnostic imaging on the same day, so you receive an expert assessment and, in most cases, initial results within a single appointment. This significantly reduces waiting time and anxiety.
For private patients, you can usually self-refer directly to Mr Sarakbi's clinic. A GP referral is always welcome and may be required by your insurer. Please contact the practice for current guidance.
The One Stop Clinic is available at Cadogan Clinic (120 Sloane Street, Chelsea, London SW1X 9BW) and Shirley Oaks Hospital, Surrey. Both have specialist radiology and imaging services on site.
You should allow approximately two to three hours, depending on whether imaging and biopsy are required. Mr Sarakbi will ensure you have enough time to ask questions and understand your results before leaving.
Imaging results (mammogram or ultrasound) are usually available during the appointment. Biopsy results typically take a few days. Mr Sarakbi will explain what to expect and ensure you receive your results promptly and with appropriate support.
