Qualifications & Training

Mr Sarakbi holds the qualifications LMSSA(Lond), LRCP(Lond), LRCS(Eng), MS and FRCS. He has undertaken specific training in both reconstructive cancer surgery and cosmetic breast surgery, giving him a breadth of expertise rare among breast surgeons.

He is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC number 6027127) and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, the Association of Breast Surgery, the British Association of Surgical Oncology and the Medical Defence Union.

Clinical Experience

Mr Sarakbi has been practising aesthetic breast surgery as a consultant for over 12 years, having first spent several years working in research and producing over 22 papers in medical journals. He has performed over 3,000 procedures in total, including more than 1300 breast augmentations, 900 breast reductions and 500 breast lifts.

Across his aesthetic and reconstructive practice, he has extensive experience in breast augmentation, breast implant replacement, mastopexy (breast uplift), breast reduction, implant removal, and lipomodelling (fat transfer), with treatment plans tailored to each patient's anatomy and goals.

He has been a consultant at Cadogan Clinic, Chelsea since 2019, where he sees patients for both cosmetic breast surgery and private breast cancer consultations. He also consults at Shirley Oaks Hospital, Surrey, where the One Stop Clinic provides same-day consultation and diagnostic imaging.

Alongside his private practice, Mr Sarakbi is Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Croydon University Hospital and Honorary Consultant Surgeon at St George's Hospital, treating breast cancer and benign breast disease.

Research & Publications

Mr Sarakbi has an active research portfolio with over 22 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and presentations at international conferences in the UK, USA and Europe.

His academic work began during higher surgical training and includes breast cancer molecular marker research (including STS and OATP), with an MS degree awarded by the University of London for this research pathway.

International Faculty & Speaking

Mr Sarakbi regularly contributes to specialist meetings and educational events. He has delivered invited lectures on reconstructive and symmetrisation techniques and participated in international breast surgery conferences as faculty and speaker.

Recent invited international talks include implant selection and long-term safety considerations in breast augmentation, and lectures addressing long-term outcomes of symmetrisation procedures and the use of textured and polyurethane implants in reconstruction.

This ongoing academic engagement supports a practice style grounded in current evidence, modern technique and continuous professional development.
